the real problem is not indian colleges. its the indian economy in USA most of the colleges are private and are funded by other millionaires. Most of the research and real engineering is done not in colleges but in big tech corporation who have the required resources to do so. on the other hand there is no big tech company hence no money is spend on research and development.

ITT: We share serious startup ideas Anon 01/19/2023 (Thu) 18:10:18 ID:cc13a5 No. 9682 [Reply]
Do you have any startup ideas or will you forever remain a NEET/wagecuck? I'll go ahead and share my retirement idea with you. "GAMING CAFE" yes its not that hard, rent a place close to colleges/zoomie gaymers/children/manchildren. You can minimise initial investment by going to arab and ordering 10 pieces of used powerful server cpu, maybe a 4th gen intel for dirt cheap along with 10 miner gpu and some cheap ram+storage with good warranty. All this from alibaba wholesale(not aliexpress retail). Then comeback to india carrying all of that in a small suitcase. This way you can do tourism+buy cheap shit because arabs have 0 tax and visa/tickets are affordable. Buy remaining components locally. I would never buy pc cases, instead invest that money into a good custom furniture table, fitting the pc hardware with good cooling under the table. Maybe a drawer like system with a lock on top. I highly doubt all this will cost more than 5-7 lakhs. As long as pc parts dont break down in the first year you can earn the initial investment back. Do the math, No decent e-sports cyber cafe charges less than 50inr/hour.

Yaaro how do I build a website? I want to create a website which provides a service and displays banner ads on the side while somebody is using it. I'd be happy if it makes even $20-$30. Any resources? Anyone ever built a website?

What makes electronic items expensive in india? Phones, laptops, headphones, all electronic goods take a huge chunk of your income and are hard to obtain. This is not the case in western nations. For example, for a good laptop, you have to spend 70k rupees and average pajeet will earns about 12 lakh per year, which will require loans and saving money. In the US, a good laptop will be 6k USD, and average burger with similar educational background and field of work would earn over 100k USD per year, making the purchase like nothing. What makes electronics expensive in india?
